Stars playing Good Samaritans
As the pandemic rages in India, Bollywood stars have taken on a new role—they are playing Good Samaritans in this critical hour. Sonu Sood, who had been no less than a savior to thousands of migrant workers last year, is in the forefront again, helping alleviate the suffering of Covid patients.
Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar with wife Twinkle Khanna, Shilpa Shetty, Sushmita Sen, Alia Bhatt, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar have also been doing their bit by arranging for oxygen cylinders and lifesaving medicines. Jacqueline Fernandez was seen serving food to the migrant workers of Mumbai.
