How much do you know about current events in India and the U.S.? Try this short quiz!

1. The awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to 17-year-old Malala Yousafzai brought the average age of all Nobel Peace Prize Laureates down from 62 all the way to 61.

2. India was among the top five contributors to the United Nations’ Ebola response, giving $12.5 million to the effort.

3. Flipkart, India’s online retailer, sold 60 items per second, including a TV every second, during its “Big Billion Day” on Oct. 6.

4. In the week after Narendra Modi’s visit to New York City, six babies born to Indian-American parents in the New Jersey-New York area were named Narendra. One was a girl.

5. The New York Times apologized for a cartoon it published following India’s successful Mars mission, showing an Indian man with a malnourished cow knocking on the door of the “Elite Sports Club.”

(1,2,3, and 5 really happened.)
