DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN?
1. The number of F-1 visas granted to Indian students between March and May 2025 dropped 27 percent from the same period in 2024.
2. Shubhanshu Shukla became the first astronaut from India to enter the International Space Station.
3. Pakistan nominated Donald Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize, citing his “decisive diplomatic intervention” to bring an end to a four-day military conflict between India and Pakistan.
4. Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said India would nominate Trump too, as long as he agrees to lower tariffs on imports from India.
5. Deepika Padukone became the first Indian actress to be selected for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
(1, 2, 3, and 5 really happened.)
