1. Following New York City’s mayoral election, the city’s hospitals reported a surge in newborn babies being named “Zohran.”
2. Dr. Nirav Shah, former Maine CDC director, launched a campaign to become the state’s governor.
3. An Indian bus driver was caught on video watching the reality show “Bigg Boss” on his phone during a late-night trip from Mumbai to Hyderabad.
4. The bus driver was fired after the video was shared on Instagram.
5. The sandwich chain Jimmy John’s filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against an Indian man who had opened a sandwich restaurant called Johnny Jim’s.
