2. New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that Diwali will be a public school holiday in the city beginning in 2023.
3. A new report revealed that India has 1,132 centi-millionaires, third only to the U.S. and China.
4. Tulsi Gabbard, who was the first Hindu member of Congress, serving from 2013 to 2021, announced that she is leaving the Democratic Party.
5.In announcing her exit, Gabbard said that the party is “under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness.”
