DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN?

1. A school in Queens, New York, became the first public school in America to offer an all-vegetarian menu.

2. A zoo in Tacoma, Washington, named a tiger cub Kali, after the Hindu goddess.

3. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa paid a visit to a Chennai zoo to give Tamil names to seven tiger cubs.

4. Upon Jayalalithaa’s recommendation, the zoo has become the first in the world to offer an all-vegetarian menu.

5. It also became the first zoo in the world in which all the tigers went on strike.

(1, 2, and 3 really happened.)
