Good Sports: BOXER EYES ASIA TITLE
April 2016

Expectations are high in India for middleweight boxer Vijender Singh, who won his first three professional fights by knockout, each within three rounds. The 30-year-old Olympic bronze medalist will fight for the WBO Asia title in New Delhi in June.
“I am already excited. My first title fight, that too in front of my own people, in my own country,” Singh told PTI. “It cannot get better than this. I have no idea who my opponent is going to be, but I am sure I will carry on the way I have so far.”
