Good Sports: Fan of the Turbin

A Sikh man wearing a green turban got plenty of attention and good-natured laughs when he attended the Seattle Seahawks’ opening game wearing a team jersey with the name “Turbin” at the back.

Robert Turbin, nicknamed Turbo, is the backup running back for the Seahawks, who walloped the Packers 36-16 in the first game of the season. Photos of the “Turbin man” were widely shared on social media, with the anonymous fan receiving kudos for his jersey choice. No word yet on whether Turbin, the football player, is seeing an increase in his jersey sales.
