American rapper Nicki Minaj revealed on Instagram that she has been sponsoring projects at an Indian village through her pastor, helping villagers get a computer center, tailoring school, reading program, and two wells.
“This is the kind of thing that makes me feel the most proud,” she wrote, as she shared a video of a man using a water pump in the village.
Minaj, 34, whose father is Indo-Trinidadian and mother is Afro-Trinidadian, added that “we complain about the most ridiculous little things when some people don’t even have clean water. Blessings to India.”
