Good Sports: INDO-PAK EXPRESS

Watch out tennis world, the Indo-Pak Express is running again. India’s Rohan Bopanna has once again teamed up with Pakistan’s Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, and they’ve already reached one final, the Sydney International in January. The pair, who reached the final of the U.S. Open in 2010, had gone their separate ways in 2011, partly because Bopanna wanted to play with Mahesh Bhupathi in preparation for the London Olympics in 2012. “It is great for me to get reunited with Qureshi and I am really looking forward to continue (the partnership). It is a very positive sign and we can do extremely well,” Bopanna said recently.

Bopanna is currently ranked No. 13 on the ATP World Tour in doubles, while his partner is No. 15. Together, they’re likely to contend for Grand Slam titles and have Pakistanis and Indians cheering together.
