National Brain Bee: Several Indian-Americans in top 10

Atlantan Ayush Setty, the 2018 Georgia Brain Bee champion, participated in the 11th National Brain Bee competition in Baltimore and came in sixth. Seven of the eight top winners were Indian-Americans.

Meghana Nallajerla heads to Sri Lanka as Fulbright Scholar

Atlantan Meghana Nallajerla has won a Fulbright Scholar Award to Sri Lanka. She will research intergenerational trauma among Tamil families who survived the civil war.

Georgia Tech professors receive $7.5 million grant from U.S. Navy

A research team, including Santosh Pande, at Georgia Tech’s School of Computer Science received $7.5 million from the Navy to develop a customized attack-resistant software stack.
