Aabaha awarded grant from community foundation
Aabaha Inc., the nonprofit behind the annual Aabaha Art and Theater Festival (AATF), has received a grant from the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. Founded in 2019, Aabaha celebrates cultural diversity through multilingual theater, visual arts, and community engagement. The grant will support the organization’s expansion of programming, including its annual festival featuring traditional, contemporary, and experimental theater, art exhibits, panel discussions, and cultural exchanges. Founder and Artistic Director Kallol Nandi said the funding strengthens Aabaha’s mission to provide a platform for diverse voices, nurture local artists, and bring communities together through storytelling and art.
