Dr. Neelagaru honored with Ellis Island Medal of Honor
Dr. Narasimhulu Neelagaru, a cardiologist and founder of Quantum National Bank, has been awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor. The award, presented annually by the Ellis Island Honors Society, recognizes individuals who exemplify a life dedicated to community service, professional excellence, and commitment to the nation’s ideals. Currently a director of both HomeTrust Bancshares and HomeTrust Bank, Dr. Neelagaru was selected for his contributions to healthcare, economic development, and philanthropy. He was earlier appointed by Governor Kemp to serve on the Board of Commissioners for the Georgia Student Finance Commission.
