Emory scientists on 2025 highly cited researchers list
Ten Emory University faculty members, including four Indian American scientists, have been selected for Clarivate’s 2025 Highly Cited Researchers list. It identifies scholars whose work ranks among the top 1% most cited worldwide over an 11-year period, highlighting long-term influence rather than shortterm output. Among the honorees are immunologist Rafi Ahmed, director of the Emory Vaccine Center; Anant Madabhushi, a leading figure in AI-driven health diagnostics and head of the Emory Empathetic AI for Health Institute; Vineet Menachery, whose research in pediatrics focuses on emerging viruses; and Suresh Ramalingam, executive director of the Winship Cancer Institute and a recognized leader in lung cancer research. He’s also on the TIME100 Health list.
