Georgia Trend includes Navneet Narula in ‘40 under 40—the Best and the Brightest’
As a management executive in financial services at Accenture, Navneet Singh Narula is no stranger to awards. His company honored him with its first ever Corporate Citizenship—Volunteer Service Award in 2005 for providing six months of dedicated onsite service to the victims of the Asian tsunami, Hurricane Katrina and the Kashmir earthquake. In 2006, he was a recipient of the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award. In December last year, he received a Humanitarian Award from the Minorities in Business Foundation. And this year, he is the only Indian American included in Georgia Trend's ‘40 under 40—the Best and the Brightest.' This ‘Class of 2007,' picked from about 200 candidates and over 300 nominations, has been described as "an outstanding group of individuals poised to lead our state's commercial, cultural, academic and government institutions into the future." It was the highest level of participation, according to Georgia Trend's editorial staff, which did the final selection. Narula advises non-profit charities and also serves as a director of Community Empowerment at United Sikhs, a global NGO.
