IACA recognizes four outstanding volunteers
Each year, the IACA President honors outstanding volunteers who dedicate their time and talent to the organization’s diverse initiatives. This year, President Dhananjay Gupta recognized several key contributors:
Dr. Raktim Sen for coordinating FOI and Diwali cultural programs as well as
Atlanta Indian Idol; Chaitali De for cultural programming at FOI, Diwali, and Atlanta Indian Idol; Gita Vemparala, Women’s Forum Program Director, for leading International Women’s Day and Women’s Forum activities; Suma Potini,
Executive Vice President and Women’s Forum PD, for coordinating FOI and Diwali; and Jyothsna Hegde, Media Director and Women’s Forum PD, for her work on Diwali, Atlanta Indian Idol, FOI Souvenir, flyers, and the weekly newsletter. The honors were presented by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, the guest of honor.
