JAINA 2007 presidential award conferred on Jain World
Jain World’s massive multiple language editions of a huge, user-friendly website (www.jainworld.com) has created an in-depth knowledge base and global resource center complete with authentic and original Jain scripture and commentaries to serve Jains and non-Jains, from casual visitors to serious researchers. This is a historic landmark in the cause of Jainism not achieved before. Jain World was recognized for its unique and outstanding contribution to the cause of Jainism and for pioneering the multi-language editions now in 24 languages and available in 147 countries. At the JAINA convention held last year, President Kirit Daftary presented the JAINA Presidential Award 2007 to Vinod Daryapurkar, founder and creator of Jain World.
