Shobha Ramu Shivaiah, a senior manager for software development for Amazon Music, won the Woman of the Year in Engineering award for 2022. It is presented by Women in Technology, a nonprofit that works to empower girls and women working in STEAM. The award is given to one Georgia woman in STEAM every year to honor her accomplishments as a leader in business and community. Shivaiah is chair, Amazon Women in Engineering, Atlanta chapter.
