Shyam Reddy appointed to UGA Board of Advisors College of Public Health
Shyam Reddy, an Atlanta-based attorney at Kipatrick Stockton, was recently named to the University of Georgia College of Public Health Board of Advisors, according to The Legal Newswire. He joins eight other board members who are distinguished leaders in the State of Georgia and/or the field of public health. A 2006 candidate for Georgia Secretary of State, Reddy earned his Masters in Public Health (M.P.H.) from Emory University. He also graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. In his law practice, Reddy advises technology companies and private equity funds in negotiating and consummating their strategic growth transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and cross-border deals. He also provides general corporate advice to individuals, companies and the portfolio companies of private equity and venture capital funds. Reddy has received numerous awards, including the 2007 Marshall Memorial Fellowship. He was by picked by both Georgia Trend and Atlanta Business Chronicle for their βTop 40 Under 40 Georgians.'
