Swati Mishra sings “Dil Kya Kare”

Swati Mishra has sung female vocals for the song “Dil Kya Kare” (Did I Love You), which released in January 2016. Based on a Kishore Kumar classic from the 1975 movie Julie, the song is a fusion rhythm and blues/pop track. It has been in the top 20 charts on iTunes India and Saavn Radio and has over 1.5 million hits on YouTube. Singing for legendary music producer Rishi Rich under the label Universal Music India with Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat featured in the video has been the perfect launch for Swati to step into playback.

Swati is also a keyboardist and tabla player. In 2011, within 6 months of uploading her first singing cover on YouTube, her channel became the #7 most-viewed and the #54 most-subscribed channel in India. Her musical journey took her back to India where she was a part of the Indian Idol show, and her idol Bollywood music composer Salim Merchant loved her voice. With a growing fan base around the world, Swati has performed at trendy venues in the US, Canada, and India.
