Kal Ho Naa Ho has achieved a rare honour. It's the first Hindi commercial film whose screenplay (by Karan Johar) has been selected for archiving by the Oscar Academy.

Tabu will soon start shooting for an English film to be directed by Vinta Nanda. Tabu has been paired with Rahul Bose.

Singer Adnan Sami might be doing a full-length feature film. Writer-turned ?director Sarabh Shukla says that he's narrated the script to Adnan and he is giving it serious thought.

After Tehzeeb, Shabana Azmi will be seen in Mahesh Dattani's Morning Raga where she plays a Carnatic singer. The film also stars Perizaad Zorabian of Joggers' Park fame.

An unusual movie coming up is titled Silence Please?The Dressing Room, a film taking a shot at the turn of events in a cricket match between India and Pakistan. Essaying the role of a journalist assigned to cover the match is Sonali Kulkarni, whom we haven't seen after Agnivarsha.

The much delayed Zamaanat, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor, is finally going to see the light of day. The film which was launched seven years ago, is to be released soon.

British actress Liz Hurley, famous in India for being the girlfriend of businessman Arun Nayar, reportedly plans to act in a Bollywood thriller. Liz, 38, will star alongside veteran Om Puri in the as-yet-untitled film.

Aishwarya Rai will probably replace Kareena Kapoor in Deepa Mehta's River Moon after Kareena opted out citing date problems. Rahul Khanna has also reportedly backed out of the project and John Abraham is supposed to have stepped into his shoes.
