Concert by Unnikrishnan
Legendary Carnatic music singer will be performing live in Atlanta on August 12, 2018 as a part of the fundraiser for Sankara Nethralaya. Concert will be a mix of classical, semi-classical and devotional songs. Please do come and enjoy this program.
One of the major donors of SN OM Trust, Dr. Uma M. Kumar passed away suddenly from a massive brain hemorrhage today, (Sunday, August 5). She would have turned 60 on August 30, 2018. She was a well respected kidney specialist. Her family donated several thousands of dollars to SN OM Trust over the last several years. In fact, you may recall, the first village screening we did in 2016 was in her village of Puligondu in Chittoor district. She donated $5000 for the village screening.
The medical director of Henry Medical center in Stockbride sent his staff a link to SN OM Trust so that anyone who wants to donate money in her name can do so. Her family is requesting their friends to donate to SN OM Trust in lieu of flowers.
We are dedicating the upcoming program by Sri. Unnikrishnan to her. We will start the dedication ceremony at 1:00 PM. We will have a dedication ceremony to Dr. Kumar from 1:00- 1:30. We will start the concert around 1:45.
