GSU Asian Studies Center: Islam, Sufism, and Sufi Chanting
a unique program that brings students and practitioners of the Atlanta unit of the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® (one of the oldest Sufi traditions going back to the 7th century CE) on our campus. They will present their views on Islamic Sufism and Sufi chanting and highlight the message of love, peace, and harmony as the essence of Islam as a religion and a way of life.
Short presentations will be followed by live Sufi chanting performed by the participants.
