Heartfulness to host the Free to Participate Virtual Event with celebrated ambassadors of peace – Dr.Kamlesh Patel (Daaji) , Dr. Deepak Chopra, Sister BK Shivani, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Ms.Sharon Salzberg and Amandine Roche, anchored by world renowned actor and director Shekar Kapoor. World renowned musicians Pandit Hari Prasad Chourasia and Grammy nominated Shashank Subramanyam will enliven the event with their magical melodies.

International Day of Peace is celebrated on 21st September every year to promote peace amongst nations and people and was established in 1981 by the United Nations with the hope that the children of tomorrow can inherit a better world. Heartfulness Institute in partnerships with United Nations Information Canter, United Way India, Global Citizens India, and Spirit of Humanity Forum, will unite humanity through meditation and help experience the power of peace. This is facilitated through the global free to register virtual event named ‘Celebrate Peace‘ at 8 p.m. local time followed by a ‘Create Peace’, a synchronized Meditation at 9 p.m. local time on the International Day of Peace. http://heartfulness.org/peaceday.

The “Celebrate Peace” event will be broadcasted in over 100 countries and translated into over 24 languages worldwide via online streaming platform partners. Similar virtual events organized by the Heartfulness Institute such as the International Day of Yoga was viewed by over 22 million people and this event is poised to reach over 40 million people.

Daaji, Guide of Heartfulness Institute said, “Experiencing peace and unity within oneself is the first step towards fostering external peace. The sound of silence has great power to unite and on International Day of Peace this year we will look at how one can inspire peace from within. The coming together of the eminent forces in spirituality will ensure that the aura of peace will get amplified and resonate stronger across the planet.”

Shekar Kapoor, noted director and actor, will steer the conversations between the renowned proponents of inner peace Dr. Kamlesh Patel (Daaji), Sister B.K Shivani, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Amandine Roche, Sharon Salzberg. Renowned musicians who have volunteered their time for peace, in tune with the need of the hour will also be part of the event. Peace Ambassador Amandine Roche will share her experiences.

Confirmed partners include Global Citizens India, United Way, United Nations Information Centre, and the Spirit of Humanity Forum. Most importantly,  the global Heartfulness network will be supporting the various  “Communities of Peace” across the world by holding events online from 5th September 2020.
