8/16: Welcome our labor commissioner Mark Butler, who has graciously agreed to come to IACA on the 16th for the independence day celebration. He has recognized the importance of entrepreneurship of Indians and our role in creating more jobs in the state.
Many activities are planned including the unveilling of a new book from the renowned author and Indologist Mr. Rob Arnett, who has written and compiled many books on India and he has deep fascination for the Indian culture.
There will be discussion topics on Health, the college admission process, and entertainment activities along with tasty snacks and masala chai.

8/23: Governor of Georgia, Hon. Nathan Deal will be coming to Festival of India on Aug 23rd as the keynote speaker.
This is the largest Indian community event in the Southeast on the occasion of Independence day of India which is on Aug 15th. Sign up as a volunteer, performer, speaker or as a vendor. Growth of India and its importance on the global stage will put you on top of the map. With our growing population and its significant contribution to the US economy through entrepreneurship, political participation, Science, Technology, Medicine, Hospitality and many other fields of endeavour, the Indian Community is on the spotlight. It is high time we come together in large numbers to festival of India at Gwinnett center on the 23rd to continue our annual tradition of Celebration. FOI started in the year 1997, the 50th year of India gaining its independence from the British rule on August 15th, 1947.
