A knee injury cut his wrestling career short and he never won a medal, but he recently got to enjoy a podium finish vicariously through his 19-year-old daughter, Anshu Malik. Competing in the 57 kg class at the World Cup in Belgrade, Serbia, Anshu won a silver medal, bringing tears to her father.
