DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN?

How much do you know about current events in India and the U.S.? Try this short quiz!

1. The city of Phalodi, Rajasthan, recorded the highest temperature in India’s history: 51 degrees Celsius, or 123.8 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. An Islamic Council in Pakistan recommended that husbands “lightly beat” wives who disobey them.

3. A 12-year-old Indian-American boy was accepted into University of California (UC) Davis and UC Santa Cruz.

4. British forces began blasting Bollywood music to torment Islamic State (ISIS) fighters in Libya.

5. A Haryana woman in her seventies gave birth to a baby boy following fertility treatment.

(All five really happened.)
