Dhoop-Chaoon Presents Hindi Theatre in Atlanta
March 2012 - On the very chilly evening of 11th February 2012, the audience at Berkmar High School enjoyed four short plays, with emotion, comedy, and music, presented by Dhoop Chaoon group, led by program director Sandhya Bhagat.

NCP Office opens in Decatur
March 2012 - NCP North America Inc has been launched by Party President and Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar. Declared apolitical in nature, its Decatur office was opened on 26th January, by President Raj Sharma. Mihir Desai is President for the Southeast Region.

February 2012 - Over eight thousand devotees and visitors from all over the Southeast thronged the Hindu Temple of Atlanta (HTA) Riverdale on January 1st to celebrate a joyous Navodaya 2012 festival.

Mandala exhibits in Atlanta— for sacred space
February 2012 - The next four months bring Atlanta various opportunities to learn about mandalas. Emory and Oglethorpe University have several exhibits, on traditional Tibetan mandalas and the mandala as used by Carl Jung.

GFUSA’s “Gandhi” play is meaningful today
February 2012 - The play “Gandhi” by Syam Yellamraju—a full length drama in English, organized by The Gandhi Foundation of USA (GFUSA)—was presented at Georgia Tech’s Robert Ferst Center for the Arts on January 16, 2012.

Hindi–Urdu Saanjhe Bol: “Where Wordsmiths Meet”
February 2012 - The annual Hindi–Urdu Saanjhe Bol took place on 17th December, 2011. Around 35 poets came, from all age groups and walks of life, from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and even Jamaica and Bhutan.
