NaachFusion’s 2nd annual dance recital
June 2011 - On May 8th, 2011, NaachFusion, Georgia’s South Asian fusion dance academy, conducted its 2nd annual dance recital in Johns Creek, GA. Indian and some non-Indian students ranging in age from 4-45 performed Bollywood numbers.

June 2011 - The Conant Performing Arts Center of Oglethorpe University was filled with melodies of a different strain on the first weekend in May, as twenty eight young aspirants and music students met for the first ever Hindustani or North Indian classical music competition in Atlanta, named Crescendo 2011.

Over 400 treated at SAI Health Fair in Global Mall

Gita chanting competition at Hindu Temple of Atlanta
May 2011 - Participants were required to chant a specific number of verses starting randomly based on a cue card they picked. Six volunteer judges had been selected to grade them on (a) proper intonation and pronunciation of the verses, (b) memorization, and (c) presentation and overall effect.
