Ash, Freida bond at Cannes
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, whose eye-catching fishtail gown won her a lot of admiring glances on the Cannes red carpet, bonded with an unlikely person at the prestigious film festival this year. Ash struck up a friendship with Freida Pinto when the two gorgeous ladies met at a special photo shoot for L’Oreal and got talking. Ash was overheard gushing about her daughter Aaradhya to Freida. Abhishek Bachchan joined wife Aishwarya at Cannes, dispelling rumors of trouble in their marriage. The couple hosted a charity dinner.
The other Cannes regulars, Sonam Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat, also garnered compliments for their sartorial sense.
