Ira Khan ties the knot with Nupur Shikhare
The new year began with one of the most unusual celebrity weddings in tinseltown: Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, had a registered marriage on January 3 with her fiancé, fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare, who jogged all the way from his house to the venue, dressed in a black vest and a pair of white shorts! The bride was no less unconventional in her choice of attire—Ira looked cool and comfortable in a pair of harem pants instead of the usual saree or lehenga. The intimate ceremony was attended by Aamir Khan, his ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, and other family members. Close friends of the couple were also present.
Ira and Nupur later flew to Udaipur, Rajasthan, along with family and friends for three days of gala celebrations which culminated in a dreamy wedding on January 10.
