Shah Rukh Khan detained at New York airport It happened for the second time to Shah Rukh Khan in three years. In a scene straight out of his film My Name Is Khan, the superstar was again detained for over two hours at a New York airport in April. Shah Rukh had gone to the U.S. on the invitation of the prestigious Yale University. He delivered a lecture to the students there as a Chubb Fellow, one of the university’s top honors.

SRK himself played down the incident and charmed the 1,700-strong crowd as he spoke to them about success and failure and how to live life to the fullest. The lecture took a light-hearted turn when the actor danced his trademark Chammak Challo moves with Yale student Natalia Khosla.
