    Aabaha organizes International Theater Festival February 2021 - Atlanta-based theater group, Aabaha organized an International Theater Festival. Planned as a global event, the festival was hosted digitally on December 5, 6, 12 and 15 of 2020 where twenty-four groups from nine different countries participated. Ten groups were from across the U.S., while others were from India, Bangladesh, Canada, England, France, Sweden, Netherlands, and Dubai.

    Atlantans rally in support of Indian farmers January 2021 - Almost three hundred protestors gathered outside the offices of Consulate General of India in Sandy Springs on December 15, 2020, in solidarity with farmers in India who are fighting against the new farm laws. These protestors were voicing their support in fighting against new agricultural policies that many fear will harm farmers’ livelihoods in India.

    Gala Diwali event by TAMA January 2021 - Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) celebrated Diwali on November 21, with more than 250 people attending this online event. TAMA Cultural Secretary, Suresh Bandaru welcomed everyone and conveyed Diwali wishes. He also explained the significance of Diwali. TAMA President, Bharath Maddineni spoke about the objectives of TAMA and how the organization has adapted, planned, and executed its activities during Covid times.

    October 2, 2019, has since been able to raise enough food and funds to provide one million meals to people in need.

Serving people experiencing food and housing insecurity in Atlanta, Food4Lives team has been serving fresh meals since the lockdown in March 2020.
